BABEL D outdoor furniture brings sunny colours to the streets of Aachen,
the German city famous for having been the seat of Charlemagne’s court.
BABEL D‘s outdoor furnitureenlivens the elegant streets of Aachen’s historic city centre at the initiative of the city administration, which has made BABEL D tables, chairs and sofas available to passers-by to create spaces to relax, admire shop windows and chat.
Each BABEL D creation is an interweaving of stories, suggestions and knowledge that defines a universal and authentic language, in which the innovative solutions of the furniture collections are steeped in experiences and memory references. Thanks to its distributor Quattro Benelux and Maastricht retailer Marcel Ronda, BABEL D was selected to realise this beautiful project.
BABEL D supplied the coffee tables of the MELIK series designed by BrogliatoTraverso, which gratify sight and touch with a beautiful feeling of fullness. The rounded profiles of the three-spoke leg define their aesthetic strength and robustness. Around it, the seats and sofas of the KANO series designed by Denis Barbiero and characterised by tubular steel that form a beautiful alternation of full and empty, of strength and lightness. Above all, of comfort. All in many exclusive colours from turquoise to honey, from periwinkle to terracotta.
